Varangian or east-viking were general term for traveling bands of traders and raiders of various Fenno-Scandinavian-Russian composition from 9th century CE onwards.

Strongly Nordic body of men, known as Varangian Guard served as mercenaries and muscle for the Byzantine Emperors.

Diameter 35 x 60mm & 4mm thick (1,2"x2,2"& 0,1") 19g Axe comes with black cow hide cord.
